We started this little project over a year ago with the hope of shining a light on the wonderful community theaters we have in our area and the people who keep them running. Since then, we have seen and reviewed some truly incredible shows from the Gainesville Community Playhouse, the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, Star Center Theatre, and the High Springs Playhouse. Each show requires local artists to come together and donate their time to the community to create something that hopefully entertains and inspires those watching it.

While it has been an absolute joy to watch each of these productions, our group of reviewers has experienced some changes over the last couple of months and making it to every show is no longer viable at the moment. We hope that our reviews helped the actors, set builders, choreographers, vocal directors, stage hands, stage managers, directors, and everyone else involved in each show feel seen and appreciated. We thank you for all of your time and effort to keep the audiences entertained and we look forward to seeing more!

In the meantime, please continue to support your local theaters! In the near future, we will have the opportunity to see some incredible and innovative shows, such as:

Sorry to see you go. You were a great addition to our community. If I understand things correctly, Gainesville hasn't had a theater review portal in quite some time. It was great to see your opinion on these productions. They were well thought out and, I beleive, well received by the majority of us. I hope you can return in the near future.
